Pre-Registration Built for Speed
To reduce wait times and improve throughput, fans completed registration directly from their phones while waiting in line. A secure mobile registration flow let guests enter their information ahead of reaching the activation — keeping the kiosk itself fast, efficient, and highly interactive.
Once registration was complete, each guest received a unique QR code tied directly to their session data.
By moving the data-entry layer out of the activation and into the line, PivotXP kept guest throughput high without sacrificing the secure registration profile the rest of the workflow depended on.

One Scan, Personalized Instantly
At the photo kiosk, guests scanned their QR code to instantly launch their personalized experience. Registration data flowed securely into PivotXP's custom trading card system, automatically populating each guest's team-specific digital template in real time.
Registration, QR workflows, photo capture, and content rendering were all connected through a unified backend — minimizing manual input while maintaining accurate data association across the entire flow.
Behind the scenes, secure APIs and centralized session management kept every interaction — from registration to final print and digital delivery — tied to a single participant session.

Age-Aware Delivery, Built Into the Workflow
The activation was engineered with age-based delivery rules built directly into the workflow. Guests over 13 automatically received a digital version of their trading card in addition to their physical printed copy. For guests under 13, the system restricted delivery to physical prints only — keeping the experience compliant with content-sharing and data-handling requirements without adding friction to the guest journey.
The result was a workflow that adapted dynamically to each guest's registration data, supporting high-volume engagement during one of college baseball's biggest stages without sacrificing security, performance, or scale.
Fans walked away with custom team trading cards built specifically for them — while organizers got a platform built for operational reliability.
