Built for the rooms where venue Wi-Fi gives up

Hotel and convention-center internet is shared with every attendee, priced per drop, and ordered on the venue's clock. A bonded kit is yours alone, and it does not care where the house network terminates.

Conferences + hotel ballrooms

Registration, session rooms, a sponsor lounge, and a stage laptop on a network you control, when the hotel's Wi-Fi will not hold 400 people.

Trade show booths

Demo kiosks, lead capture tablets, and point-of-sale on the show floor, wired to the kit so they do not drop when the hall fills up.

Downtown activations + pop-ups

Dense metro sites where one carrier's tower is already saturated. Bonding two carriers keeps registration and photo delivery moving.

Livestreams indoors

Upload that holds for a keynote or a product reveal, and the failover path next to a Starlink kit for broadcasts that cannot drop.

Film + production

Dailies and crew connectivity on an indoor location without waiting on a landlord's IT department.

Backup for venue internet

A second path that takes over automatically if the drop you ordered does not show up, or stops working at 9 a.m. on show day.

Starlink or bonded cellular?

The venue decides. Here is the rule we use on every quote.

Open sky

Starlink. Cheapest, simplest, and the most common rental.

No sky

Bonded cellular. Two carriers combined into one connection, failover built in.

Stream, broadcast, or sponsor footprint that cannot drop

Both on one router. One path fails, the other carries the feed.

Not sure

Send two photos: where the devices will sit, and the nearest spot with open sky. We will tell you which kit, or whether you need one at all.

Bonded cellular rental FAQ

What is bonded cellular internet?+

A bonded cellular kit takes two cellular connections from different carriers, for example Verizon and T-Mobile, and combines them into one internet connection. Traffic is split across both, so you get more throughput than either carrier alone, and if one carrier degrades or drops, the other carries the load automatically. It is the standard way to get dependable internet inside a building where a satellite dish cannot see the sky.

How much does it cost to rent a bonded cellular kit?+

$1,500 per week for the complete kit. The data plan is sized to your event and quoted with the order, as are round-trip shipping and any add-ons such as extra access points or an on-site tech. Multi-week and multi-kit pricing is available.

Bonded cellular or Starlink?+

Starlink needs open sky and is the simplest, cheapest kit for outdoor and remote sites. Bonded cellular works indoors, in ballrooms, convention halls, and dense downtown blocks, and is the right choice when the dish has nowhere to go. For a livestream or a sponsor footprint that cannot drop, we pair both: Starlink as the primary path and bonded cellular as failover, or the reverse.

Will it work inside a convention center or hotel ballroom?+

That is what it is for. Carrier signal inside large buildings varies, so the kit ships with high-gain antenna options and we check the venue's coverage before it ships. Send the venue name and the room and we will tell you honestly what to expect. In a basement with no carrier signal at all, nothing cellular works, and we will say so rather than ship a kit that cannot perform.

How many devices can it support?+

One kit comfortably runs a booth, a registration area, or a session room: kiosks, tablets, point-of-sale, laptops, and a stage computer. For a whole conference or a multi-room footprint, we add managed access points and size the data plan to the device count. Tell us how many devices and what they will do and the quote will say exactly what you are getting.

Can it run a livestream?+

Yes, with a caveat. A 1080p stream needs roughly 5 to 8 Mbps of sustained upload, and upload is the first thing a crowded cell network gives up. Bonding two carriers is what makes that upload hold when the crowd arrives. For a paid or broadcast stream we recommend Starlink plus bonded cellular together so there is no single point of failure.

Do I need an IT person to set it up?+

No. The kit arrives preconfigured. Plug in power, place the antennas where the guide shows, connect your devices by Ethernet or to the printed Wi-Fi network, and you are online. Setup is a few minutes, and our support line answers during setup and show hours. We can also see the unit remotely.

Can you separate staff and guest Wi-Fi?+

Yes. The router supports segmented networks, so point-of-sale, registration, and your ops laptops sit on one network and guest or sponsor devices on another, with the critical network given priority.

How fast can you ship it?+

The kit ships the next business day after the contract is signed, timed to arrive before your load-in. Tell us the setup date and we choose ground or expedited so it is there when you need it, with a prepaid return label in the case.

Can a PivotXP tech run it on site?+

Yes. Most kits ship and run without staff. For multi-room footprints, broadcast feeds, or any event where the client is standing next to the stage, a PivotXP tech is a per-day line on the quote with travel at cost.

Conference next week? We can make that.

Send the venue, the dates, and the device count. You will have a quote today and a kit at the door before load-in.
