The Story
Project Objective
The aim of the project was to enhance the 1.5 hour post-screening event of the movie by offering an immersive green screen experience. This initiative sought to engage guests by allowing them to capture themselves in a video as if they were part of a scene from the movie, thereby enriching their experience and connection with the film.
Implementation Strategy
To bring the immersive experience to life, the project utilized a high-definition DSLR camera, strategic lighting, and a green screen setup. Guests were filmed against the green screen, which allowed for seamless integration into a scene from the movie’s trailer. The process was designed to produce high-quality videos complete with an introductory and concluding end card, thereby immersing guests fully into the cinematic world of the movie. This strategic use of technology ensured a smooth and engaging interaction for the guests, making them feel as if they were a part of the movie’s narrative.
Experience Overview
The immersive green screen experience was not only designed to transport guests into the world of the movie but also to allow them to share this unique moment instantly. Once participants completed their cinematic cameo, the system facilitated the immediate sharing of their personalized video. Guests could choose to receive their memorable clip via text or email, enabling them to effortlessly share their experience with friends and family or on social media. This feature added a layer of instant gratification and connectivity to the experience, amplifying the excitement and engagement among attendees.
